Uncle Foods Diner
Since 1993 Uncle Foods Diner has been serving a hot and nutritious meal once a week, on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 at the First United Methodist Church on 175 N. Main St. in Ashland, to veterans damaged by war, to teenagers in flight from various situations, to families experiencing economic hardship, to the homeless, and to others in Ashland who lack food security. Run by a large corps of volunteers under the guidance of a paid coordinator, it is funded by individual and foundation gifts, some federal money, plus our joyous annual fundraiser, Empty Bowls.
